Las bombas de paletas de doble etapa selladas con aceite Leybold TRIVAC y NEO D son bien conocidas y se utilizan en todas las áreas de la ingeniería de vacío y son igualmente adecuadas tanto para la producción industrial como para aplicaciones de investigación. Las bombas TRIVAC y NEO D, utilizadas para generar un vacío grueso y medio o como bombas de respaldo en combinaciones de bombas con bombas de vacío Roots o bombas de alto vacío, tienen la capacidad de bombear desde la atmósfera.
